A Dose of Deke #1

Deke Hammell was born in Toronto in 1947 and died in Jasper in 2024. He came west in 1970 and worked at Marmot Basin, Maligne Lake and Parks Canada where he was a JNP dispatcher until his retirement. Deke’s cartoons were published in the Jasper Booster, the Fitzhugh and the Jasper Local.
